The flights were long but I was blessed to sit next to interesting people. When I got to Whitehorse it took me a while to recognize Kathy and Glenn all wrapped up in their parkas. I was greeted at the van by a German Sheppard, Ketza, and three shelties, Molly, Keltie, and Kelly... yes, it was a little confusing at times. Snow was EVERYWHERE! I don't know what I was expecting, small patches of it I suppose, but for some reason I was completely unprepared for trees, cars and buildings to be blanketed in a fluff of dazzling white. And the way the snow sparkles... it adds a certain charm to diamonds as they seem to be a dull mimic of the powdery snow's beauty.
